My best deal was for my ME Super with a 50 f2, with everready case, af200s
with case, and off brand 28mm with case, an off brand 80-200 with case. The
manual for the camera and flash was also included. I got it all for $70.00.
I later traded the long zoom for a Pentax A 35-70 3.5-4.5

Not a super deal, but not bad. Last year I got a K1000 with a 50/2.0 lens,
assorted filters and a cheap bag at a yard sale for $25.00. Used it as
trading fodder for my MZ-S.

mentioned my missed deal (ME Special
Edition w/ 40mm pancake for $50), as well as the
recent steal of the 67 on Ebay, how about your best
deal ever on Pentax equipment? Either purchased or
missed out on like me?
Maybe you're too proud to tell us the truth?
This could be interesting
I know that I've mentioned this to the list several times already, but
it is my best deal ever. In fact, it's the deal that got me started on
Pentax, and back into photography in general after more than a decade
away from it.
About 4 years ago, my father picked up from a garage sale in Nova
Are Super As worth a lot? I keep seeing them for quite cheap.
I think I was looking at that auction, Carl- was out and couldn't
bid when that one closed (I'll have to get a wireless browser for
ebay).

This little outfit makes up my cheap alternative to the limited
lenses , because I can't afford the real thing. The whole thing is tiny,
quiet, unobtrusive, and gives great results.

Taka,
Some of us think the Super A/Super Program is a great camera and an
especially good value. It is a newer/improved model over the ME or ME Super
with both aperture and shutter speed priority plus manual modes and TTL
flash.
I like it over the MX for the automationand features it
Fuji Finepix MX2900 £40 from a loss adjuster we deal with.
Complete with battery. The charger was another £30 - ho,hum.
Konica 21mm F4 £8 (car bootie long time ago).
Carl Zeiss Flektagon 20mm F2.8 M42 £21 odd (leaving prezzie from Jessops).
Never seem to get any good deals these days

Both my own purchases:
SMC Takumar 500/4.5, $225
Vivitar Series One 55/1.2 PK prototype, $130. (never entered production)
That doesn't count lenses that I thanked my stars for simply finding, even
though I paid the going rate (Vivitar Series One 28/1.9 PK and 135/2.3 PK).

Uh, no ;) It was offered up to the list and I was the lucky
first respondent (still grinning). It has really come in handy
for interior architecture.

Being price sensitive, I have actually got most of my equipment at low
prices. My latest buy (a smc k 135-600mm) seems like a very good buy
too. I paid $550. Keh's online quote thingie says they will pay $766
for it :) Looks like I will be able to recover my money and finance some
more stuff if
