it looks like things are happy on the new machine. people on the archive
may get two copies today (one from the old server and one from the new).
i have fixed the annoying semicolon in the list name problem, so
replying from thunderbird should stop being so annoying :-).
we have one hanging on the wall to run a flat screen for meetings. it is
running win8, however. i booted it into centos over pxe to just see that
it was happy and all the devices seemed to be recognized just fine. i
was surprised it didn't have usb 3.0 in it yet, glad to hear they have
one comi
there are known issues with a pvmove of a filesystem that lvm has
lock/control files in. i think it can bite you with /etc as well. it
made me cry as well.

if you have a fujitsu, that implies frame relay and i don't know that it
can go past 1.5m. you may need to get converted to atm (westel boxes,
last i looked) to get the higher speed. also, the isp has to update
things on their end to send traffic to you at the higher speed, but i'd
guess they are

the option you want to change is the rsh-open-timeout. set it to 0 and it
should stop trying rsh.

i'd use ghostscript to convert to pcl and then print the pcl file. that
will go much faster as you'll effectively have rip'ed it under linux and
then the printer just has to put the toner

if you are a firebug user, you'll probably hate 3.5 anyway. i did a quick
test and performance was abysmal. you have to use a beta version of
firebug, which may be part of the problem.
