Sorry, this has to be a different issue. There has been no change
between 1.2.5.1 and 1.2.7 that could cause something like that.
What do you do to power it down that doesn't work?

pippin;
I bought iPeng last week and it has become my most used app on my
iphone4 very quickly. Thank you very much it really works like a
charm!
One question so far...
Is it possible to disable the action that happens when you click on a
album cover? From time to time I tend to click on it

Thank you for the quick reply.
Party mode?! Sounds interesting!
Can you elaborate some more on this? Or is it to early for that?

I would call it too early since I only have a rough idea myself about
how it would look like. There's an open ticket for it:

20sec is unusual - 2-5sec would be more normal.
Have you a large value set for your Radio Station Buffer length setting
?
Some security s/w mess around with inter process traffic but it should
result in 20 secs delay.

Have you set WOL to manual or automatic?
Did you leave the WOL settings screen before leaving the app/trying
WOL? You have to do that to save the WOL settings.
Do you still see the same WOL settings after a restart of iPeng?
Ok I had BOTH

OK - will look at this (or making it an option). Issue will be that if
its available for iPeng then it will also be on Touch/Radio UIs which

If I have iPeng open on my Touch and I shut down my computer, iPeng
starts it up again!
This only started happening with one of the most recent updates.
Is this behaviour intentional? I thought it only sent the WOL packet at
startup.

New to Squeezbox, it's all a bit confusing atm...
Quick question - does MusicIP alter files?
I've set it so the account MusicIP is running under isn't able to alter
my mp3s, is this ok?
The reason I ask is that I think I've read a post somewhere someone
complains that MusicIP has buggered up

Yes it does, but just tags not the music itself. It writes an Analysis
and Fingerprint that it uses for mixing, as shown in the attachment.

Further thought: there is a fix tags option with MIP. I suspect this
might have the capacity to work mischief and have always avoided it.
I'm sure someone here will know exactly what this button does,
though...

Ah ok, so it doesn't overwrite existing tags, it has its own little
area and sticks to that?

Only if you tell it to.
There is an option to write fingerprint and analysis data tags. This was
advertised as harmless - adding extra tags that wouldn't replace any existing
tags in the music files. However, I found that the process of adding

That's a shame, it implies MusicIP doesn't honour multiple genre tags
when creating its playlists.
Indeed, it doesn't. It's another reason why it's best to scan with SBS and
only get mixable status rather than import metada. You would also lose other
SBS scanning capabilities, such as more

I'm not sure if you have the Rangers or the Yankees selected in SDT,

if there is no change between 1.2.5 1.2.7 then how to explain the
situation, it worked
I use IDv2.3 for mp3 in my library. I also use genpuid to scan music and
store the MusicIP data in the tags. This has the advantage that all
that analysis time is stored in the file and that to reinstall musicip,
or whatever, the rescan is quick.
genpuid hasn't done any damage to the tags in my
