What I can do is fake the version of the official Synology beta package
so it can be installed as an update, over Lmsupdate. This will give you
at least the opportunity to see if the issue already exists on the base
package of Synology.

I missed a patch in the previous build (1053) which is added in the 1056
build. The patch ensures the use of UTF-8 instead of ISO-8859-1.
This could cause some problems with certain characters. Also all Github
commits till the 29th of April are added.

maintenance release (it's a version upgrade).

themselves provides the LMS package

I don't seem quite to understand. This is some kind of update to LMS 7.9
on Synology? What are the differences to LMS 7.9? Is there some kind of
changelog?

If your are running DSM6 RC (and RC only!, so not the DSM6 beta!) There
is an updated version of LmsUpdate available, 161.1034.
Synology fixed a admin rights issue with this update.
