It's definitely a permission problem. I enabled NFS and edited the share to create an NFS permission. In my case, I only needed write protected access (read-only) for the whole domain * I used Squash to give all users accessing the share admin privileges (this was needed to give non root users

It should be perfectly possible to continue using LMS as it is but only as long as you don't update the Synology OS to DSM 7 and don't update the Perl package in DSM beyond 5.24 (you can turn off auto-updates). You'll be stuck with the current LMS for synology release by pinkdot (if that's what y

OK it needs to be something with Docker folder permissions then.. I bet if you can sort that, host mode will run fine and you will be sorted.. Give me a minute as I don't remember correct procedure to change permissions.. IT might be just in DSM or in SSH with root account.. Cant remember :/
