Hello,
I have just installed the Triode plugin but it doesn't work.
The installation was fine on the LMS and I get the (orange) application
icon on my squeezebox touch.
But whatever I try to make (see Top100, make a search...) I always get
this error message (I see just the beginning on the scre

I've tried again this morning and all is working OK, using the same
tracks I tried last night. The Self Test still fails though, with
*Streaming from Spotify stalled before end of track, rate OK*.

Yesterday my LMS 7.9 running on ab Odroie U3 with Squeezeplug 7
auto-updated the Spotify Plugin. Now I can't use it anymore. Self Test
says Helper app failed. I can safely say that it is not a Noton
problem...;)
I'll look at the logs later today.

the spotifyd.exe (and other files?) from my computer. After reinstalling
it with the file from this thread (in the squeezebox/server folder) it
is there but it will not start as mentioned Before. I also have Norton

A new version 2.3.7 should now be available for all platforms which
includes the updated helper app which people have been testing (helper
app is version 2.3.4)
This is a bug fix release only, it should help with:
- gapless playback (which has been broken since I moved to
libspotify12)
- synchron

Hi @Triode, I'm running latest Debian 32bit on virtualised VMware
workstation VMs runnign Squeezelite - I haven't looked at this forum for
quite a few months as everything has been working perfectly (including
sync etc).
I've just stopped LMS (latest 7.9.0 - 1403270469) and replaced the file

Sorry no - its on the command line for spotifyd, so check what it is
running as, kill it and restart it manually should work with /dev/null.

problem with it: the service/helper keeps crashing on me. That wouldn't
be much of a problem if the crash-dialog wouldn't prevent it from

I am completely devastated ... a full reboot of the NAS running LMS
solved the problem and Triode's Spotify plugin (v2.3.6) appears now
under active plugins. Everything works as in the past...

To make this plugin working i've to switch off 1 or 2 players and
restart more times server, any suggestion? This happens only with
spotify.
