i think the backlighting makes far more of a difference than the actual type of screen... colour TFTs always seem to be brighter, it wouldn't surprise me if they use more powerful backlights to increase colour saturation and make the screen look much nicer. just a theory. Ben. > I believe the d

Jake, having painted a few desktop macs (6100, p460, AudioVision 14, Apple Multiscan 17, and others), here's a tip. Make sure you use a sealer! I used some Krylon spray paints (~$3/can @ Walmart) - Flat Black, no gloss in particular - on my cases. The paint took and sticks with no problem.
