Hi Tina , just a question : the 1400 is systemized with a 8.1 System. Where could I find a downloadable floopy disks 8.1 system ? excuse me for my bad "english", I try to do the "bad less" language ... read you soon I think I'll restore my 1400 with yours gathering helps : that' s the 1st lesson.

i think the backlighting makes far more of a difference than the actual type of screen... colour TFTs always seem to be brighter, it wouldn't surprise me if they use more powerful backlights to increase colour saturation and make the screen look much nicer. just a theory. Ben. > I believe the d

So here's a question for you folks... Has anyone ever tried to connect a 3400 display to a 5300? The data cables look s similar... ;-) I'm guessing that even if one did this, the display would look funky what with the different native resolutions of the LCDs... Think it would work thoug

Jake, having painted a few desktop macs (6100, p460, AudioVision 14, Apple Multiscan 17, and others), here's a tip. Make sure you use a sealer! I used some Krylon spray paints (~$3/can @ Walmart) - Flat Black, no gloss in particular - on my cases. The paint took and sticks with no problem.
