P -Ram battery should be good for 3.5 volts so it is a combined total.
Hence the reason for having to use the psu if the P-Ram is bad

not charge inside. Runtime on a 5300 with a Li-ion battery can be simply
amazing. I tested a 3400 battery in a 5300cs and IIRC got over 6 hours
(with _no_HD_ spindown and _no_ backlight dimming!!) before the battery

Need help. recieved a 5300ce today unit looks new battery good for 2hrs
45.mins 64mb ram 117mhz cpu and lots of extras. zip drive ethernet card
xjack modem. and a whopping 20gb hdd. all above
It is probably not worth the cost of repairing. IIRC, the floppy is
the same as the one from the 5300, so you can probably buy one cheap
on Ebay.

hi I had this problem with the modem in my 540 do you know weather it is a
geoport express modem. if so set it to internal in the control panel and
turn it to pulse dial then turn the sound off (for some reason this worked
in my 540c) hope it works for you
