yes you are absolutely right. software should have all the configurations files
modifiable similar to spamdyke. machines have so much more processing power and
memory that the additional resources utilized in loading config files during
run-time is negligible.

I found a previous cause of this to be emails going to an account with a
vacation message on, or some other auto responder.
And it loops if the sender also has some kind of auto response message set
up.

I am running CentOS 5.10 with an older build of qmailtoaster (2009)
which I have kept up to date with QTP. With the onslaught of devices
automatically configuring email with IMAP, I wanted to migrate to
dovecot for it's efficiency and larger mailbox size compatibility.
I followed the dovecot
install (replacing or editing configure files), is that info somewhere
here (in the mailing list)? Or do you have a different strategy to
try? I didn't see a Dovecot install option in the qtp-menu. (Maybe I
missed something...?)

bl.spamcop.net might be having issues. I've removed that rbl from
mail.qmailtoaster.com for the time being, and we'll see what happens.
Note, I haven't implemented snat on that host yet either, which might

am using qmailtoaster on centos 5 32 bit version
i installed sanesecurity on 3 of my servers successfully
on one server i am getting the following errors
[root@ns1 clamav]# rpm -Uvh http://qtp.qmailtoaster.com/trac/downloads/1
Retrieving http://qtp.qmailtoaster.com/trac/downloads/1
-sanesecurity and it got installed
successfully
1) the question is can i uninstall and reinstall qmailtoaster-plus without
affecting my qmailtoaster installation -- this is a live mailserver
2) how do i do it
