I really do like the SBRadio. I think it is very solid compared to other
similar radios. It has a nice cool look to it and the sound quality is
very good. The functionality is very good and the speed is fine; I do
not expect it to behave exactly like the SBBoom...it's a miniature. I
call it my Bab
Can you assign other functions to presets, not just favorites, like
setting the sleep-time?

I am testing the Radio and Boom side by side at the moment. It's
immediately obvious that the Boom display reacts much faster to user
inputs. There is no lag on Boom at all, while there is noticeable lag on
the Radio. Most offending is the power off button. Sound gets cut
quickly, but display stic
I just set up my Radio today and everything went smoothly. After
plugging it in and configuring my network settings, the Radio found my
local Squeezebox Server and connected to it. I tested it with both local
music and with internet based sources such as Rhapsody, and everything
worked flawlessly.
I'm very happy with my new red radio, it's beautiful and the sound is
amazing, but i'm having issues with the squeezeplay software.
I'd say the Home button should ALWAYS take you directly to the home
screen (excepts maybe when in a context menu), but it seems to respond
only when i'm only one lev
FYI, this has been fixed in r7847, and it will be included in the 7.4.1
release (likely before the end of October). 12h formatted time works to
set the alarm until then as a workaround.
It amounted to a one line fix, but not in a particularly obvious
place.

Right, I knew that the IP3K players don't have a clock (except the
Boom's RTC), but wasn't thinking that the new players *do*. I just power
cycled the Radio, thinking the reboot might trigger a time sync against
the SBS server, and now the Radio is within a second or so of the Boom.

manufacturing as many red units as black so they wont be available
everywhere and they will be more difficult to get a hold of.

I had similar problems to another server some time ago - then I realized
that there are different versions of ssh available and my old
putty-version just supported version 1
don't know what the SB-radio supports and if this is really your
problem but it might be a hint :-)

alarm choosing "Current Paylist" as thje sound then your currently
playing station will be set as your alarm. I think.

When you're connected to your server "Random Mix" is an alarm option
(with a few suboptions).

You should have the option to add a radio station as a favorite.
However, if your radio is connected to mysqueezebox.com, this doesn't
work due to a bug. To work around this bug, you can go to the
mysqueezebox.com web page and add the favorite there.

This might be convoluted, and there might be a better way, but since
there should be an option to assign a "Favorite" as an alarm sound, add
the station(s) in question to your fave list and then pick from there.
That's how I do it :)

My Radio has just arrived and am liking it so far :)
I'm just in the process of setting it up and for the life of me can't
figure out how to get it to play the radio as an alarm.

now it seems to run on my radio as well :-)
at least I was albe to connect to my Qnap TS101 running 7.3.3
didn't test too much so far but this was I think already the most
important step :-)
