Is there already a request in to add an auto off feature to the radio?
Since many of us use this as an alarm clock, etc. It would be nice to be
able to program the radio to power down after a set number of inactive
minutes, so that it goes back to displaying the clock.

My original report came from a conversation with Logitech support.
Further discussion with Slimdevices people via bugs.slimdevices.com
indicates that he was wrong.
It is, however, true that most routers are currently going through an
assessment process for compatibility with the Radio and

Yes, this is the canonical reference for router compatibility. If you
are using or have tested a router, please update the wiki with your
experiences.

I would still prefer the time being displayed in large fonts (sleepy

Have you tried using the wired connection on the squeezebox radio to
play the same material?
Try going hard wired. If the problems go away then there is something
going on with the network, even if it is just the type of encryption you
are using.

Hi:
I've had the SBR for a few weeks now, and generally like it--aside from
the fact that it is a pain in the a** to get going most times.
The issue I'm having is doing a power-up, the radio doesn't work pretty
much all of the time. I have to power down via the power button, then
start it back
I'm a long time fan of Slim Devices, having purchased my original SliMP3
player back in late 2001. I also have the distinction of still having
the original email from Sean Adams indicating I was the very first
pre-order in for the original Squeezebox (which I still have).
I have been interested

There is already an enhancement logged for this, although it was
