On a system with a via kt133 chipset i upgraded the 2.4.18-4 kernel to the new 2.4.18-5 kernel. When i boot the system suddenly the messages "spurious 8259A interrupt irq 7" appear. Which never appear with the earlier kernel. I have sent a bug report but someone might have a solution for this.
