Does work? If it does, check the
short_open_tag directive in the php.ini file.

Of course this assumes that once you set up ssh, you disable telnet (you
should).
Hope this helps,

I can verify that it is NOT postfix. I run postfix on my mail servers and
I tested it (knowing that it would pass) as soon as this thread
started. Postfix does The Right Thing.

I believe that most MUA's transparently protect the user from inadvertent
message terminators. What MUA are you using?

2. Trust them or don't do business with them.
There are a lot of security implications, so it's easier not to give the
clients logins. You still have to watch security though.

All that said, I agree php4 does compile smoothly, and if the rpm's don't
have a feature you need - compile it up!

AllowHosts configuration settings of the commercial ssh, and this is even
better, since it puts that information in the global allow/deny files.
Thanks (Michael and everyone) for clearing this up for me!

I'm not arguing that HTML doesn't belong in email (I never send HTML
email myself!), just that the security issues do not prevent a MUA from
handling html laden email safely.
Just my opinion.

Wasn't the beta for 6.0 called Starbuck? Therfore instead of Apollo ->
Hedwig, you get Apollo -> Starbuck, which makes more sense (at least to
old fans of BattleStar Galactica). Now how Starbuck goes to Hedwig, I
don't know, though I am a fan of the Potter books.
