The reason for some problems between 1.4x and 1.4.2 are class file
format changes. I have had multi issues with some of my prebuilt java
programs. The Netscape browser has built in java class packages, and
this would explain the crash. I think projects need to recompile their
classes. Sun has

the java netlets it will work fine, it is just this small but for my
very important piece. The newest release of iPlanet will allow use of
java2 for the netlets, unfortunately we seem to be having problems
getting it to a

Got it. The previous xpi directory is there and the installer script doesn't
appear to have a version attached to it, so it doesn't know I want to install
the newest version.
Once I got rid of the xpi directory, it went out to the net to get the version.

into the Netscape Plugins directory and then you should have no problems.

I have running 5 computers installed with redhat 7 for public search in
library database. For browsing the database we use netscape 4.75
The problem is that public users often close netscape when they have
ended a search, by using the x-icon in right upper corner.
Is there a way I can

Now I am lost in the instruction:
If I double click the netscape-installer icon then it would run the
installation. I am not getting anything
The instruction is run script: ./netscape-installer
