Hey Mark
The SBE needs to rethink the Amateur Certification For Extra .
The Extra is No longer the Same technically as it once was.
The SBE should Consider the Advanced Class For their Certification

Tom, if you already have a digital control tray in your possesion
it is not all that difficult to make it work on the analog.
It is not plug and play, however. If you do not have a digital

The problem with using galvanized is that the coating is
zinc, which is a very active metal that corrodes easily.
It's used as a sacrificial metal to prevent rust and corrosion
from attacking the steel underneath.

Why don't they take the GROL license exam to prove what they know.

where you could memorize the questions and answerssame with the

You probably have to ADD the 2nd mode. If the radio

You'll have to read the existing codeplug with RSS

Hello
Group,
What I
have seen in the past on these types of PA's is that the power control
circuit/voltage actually oscillates and causes all sorts of problems.
Check it with an oscilloscope to find out for sure. A good capacitor
placed in the correct place usually fixes that problem.
