The checkresult however is a problem. RRD can log numbers, the checkresult of

One of the pain points for me and Serves Alive has been that External Com
checks cannot be used with RRDTool
It's been a long time since I looked at the external com checks...
If the result is returned to SA as a parameter you could potentially write a
batch file to run with each cycle the inserts the value into an RRD.

the results from WMI, *NIX diskspace, and potentially CountFiles checks, but

It just controls the command that is executed AFTER the update of the dbs,
which is in most cases the generation of the graphs.

running) using RRDTOOL and enable checkresult logging â nothing works (cant
CREATE and canât GRAPH). I have tested diskspace checks and NT Perfmon checks
and they work fine. Only NT Process check
Does anyone have any examples of how they have modified the command line in the
sa_graph_rrd.bat file to make the RRD Graphs look more pleasing to the eye?
I figured I would as around before I really dig into understanding the cmd line
options. Thanks
