Is there any chance you can convert this to a standard format that any word processor can read. The standard is RTF. I have tried opening that document (unzipped of course) in both WordPad and Microsoft Works, and it crashes them both. If it were RTF it could be read by those, as well as my Word

Wierd. I was sent a rtf version of it, and I can open it now, but in Wordpad, the formatting is missing like you say, and in Microsoft Works, the formatting is there, but the header and footer for each page are missing (I got a message that some images were too big to display, so that may be it).
