I am pretty happy with my current combination of Debian, e17 and zhone. My wife said that the audio on a call earlier sounded like anyone else calling, which is praise indeed! :-) And this is using Debian-installed alsa state files, without any tweaking or use of *mixer.py. (My phone has been bu

1. Sometimes fails to send SMS. 2. Sometimes fails to show new incoming SMS. I also got reports from other users via mailinglist, but no logs/traces. I don't have enough time to debug it myself. That's no problem at all, I'm happy to try to debug this. (Actually (1) happened for me earlier tod

I think debug settings should be enabled for debugging only. at the current stage, debug output (and the log level must not necessarily be DEBUG) is still useful anyway, i think. Or maybe better to have logging to syslog, *and* proper log rotation enabled. -1 for syslog +1 for logrotate

As one of those other users I'm happy to send you logs. Thanks. OK here goes. Actually unless you can see something I can't the surprising thing is that there is no sign of the incoming message in the logs at all. But (and this may provide a clue) yesterday I tried a different SIM belongi
