(1) happened for me earlier today, but I needed to shut down the
phone, so I copied the logs from /tmp to /tmp/save, so that they
wouldn't be overwritten on next startup... but unfortunately I forgot
that the whole of /tmp would disappear :-).)

Such a file will become large, especially on long runs (and phone should
run long without reboots, shouldn't it :)?

be DEBUG) is still useful anyway, i think.

I think it may depend on the kernel you use, and I have the impression
that it might be linked to whether or not I've used the wifi since the
last reboot.

OK here goes. Actually unless you can see something I can't the
surprising thing is that there is no sign of the incoming message in the
