Oscar,
I would think the best solution to your problem will be to cut flaps into
the trailing edge of the inner wing panels. Just cut them out, face them
with balsa, face the new trailing edge of the wing with balsa, add 2 metal
geared servos such as HS85MG, recover everything add a tape hinge an
You saying Bruce may be an Alien? Maybe that explains his extraordinary
skills.
Must be from a water planet, that would explain his affinity for fish.

I was really talking about the wing walker, but as you know, UFO's are
frequently captured in pictures of Bruce at distance, and this one is no
exception... look over his head to the right a bit.

As I understand it, the current 9C does allow V-tail in a full house
sailplane. It was the first run of the 9Cs that had the V-tail/sailplane
bug. The current ones still have the rudder trim reversal bug.

Andrew Mileski, you're the BOT dude. Yet, I can only find minimal spoiler
info on your web site. Got anything more detail oriented for Oscar?

Hmmm. The only v-tail bug I've ever heard about involved elevator
compensation on a v-tail when crow was used (one side of the v-tail would
more more then the other). I know lots of people who use the 9C on a
v-tail full house glider with no problems.

I've, too, had some weird experiences with Futaba. 2 years ago I bought a
9C and tried to set it up with a full house sailplane with V-tail. It would
not work and when I called Hobbico they advised that there was a bug in the
program that would not allow it to work with a V-tail. They traded
Hi Brent,
I am using Futaba S3103( 3106 or 3107, they are all the same and very similar to Hitec HS55 ) on the ailerons of my 1.5m all-molded mini Corado sloper. Never had any problem in flight or launching with strong Hi-start but the aileron servos ALWAYS strip if the plane hits the ground hard
This is from my old 9C Web Pages. I'm sorry I no longer have web space
available but I will be glad help any time I can.

When I score my hinge lines I but an exacto blade backwards in the handle.
This leaves the square end that will scrape rather than cut and will be
about 1/32" wide allowing better flexing in the hinge.
