What weight tubing is used for such applications? For a molded contest type model, you can use tubing that has tension around 5 to 6 times the weight of the model, and get a bit of a zoom launch with it. I use latex rubber with 2/16" inner 7/16" outer diameter which generates about 24 to 27lb's of
