This is my latest theory.
Go to Accoun/IMAP commands/Manage IMAP folders and turn on
Sychronization = Lots of duplicates
Tun off sync of any kind = No duplicates

I have the problem as well. I have only one color group that selects a
different text style for mails I send (I allways send a copy of the mails
towards my self). S the rule is base on the sender address.
I use pop accounts only.
