he HTML view is very important in an email program, and the TB viewer
is simply not good enough. Denying completely the usefulness of HTML
in email and insisting on a diet of monospaced fonts is just avoiding
the reality of the many uses to which we now put our email software.

That did it. Could be a problem with the URL - also downloaded from
the link on the web page directly - this seemed also to only have
1.45.

What is the "secret"? Do I need a Masonic hand shake, or similar?

elsewhere. What have the Romans ever done for us :) Then again, you
can't please everybody - perhaps the answer would be a configuration
switch to use the Bat editor or for it to operate in the style of,
say, Agent.

ut you can see why it's
there: the server wants to know *quickly* where the message ends,
without completely parsing the mail, otherwise it becomes a serious
delivery bottleneck.)

you gave me something that i could touch in a world where i'd had too much

command in the menu or button systems seems unnecessarily
difficult. Something that may be addressed in the next version.

I've also tried to test Calypso but I can't stop it crashing -
probably a clash with other software I have rather than a dire
roduct (Poco) which lacks some of The Bat's features but does seem more flexible in this respect. Can you chaps convert me 100% to The Bat!?
