When should bayesit start doing it's stuff?
For the last few days I've received a number of near identical
messages telling me that i need to update my system with the attached
security fix.
I know that the mail is junk and the the file

filter cannot evaluate it. Worse, if it if a
statistical filter - a bayesian one like bayesit - then that filter
will not learn about the spam's content and be able to update its
filtering.

"learning", until a couple of days ago it was catching 65 - 85
percent on any given day.
Two days ago I switched to Avast! AV, which also has a plugin for TB!.
Since then, Bayesit is catching only 50
I just upgraded to v.2.1, which has the BayesIt plugin v.5. Since
upgrading, all mailing lists (including TBUDL) and friends' e-mails
that have a bunch of cc's are filtered to the Junk folder. None
of the adjustments I've made has made a difference.

No, I wasn't speaking about blacklists at all. I think whitlisted mails
get a score of 0, blacklisted of 100 and the rest is 1..99.
