I spent most of the day Sunday with about a dozen other volunteers,
trying to get the camp showers working.
I don't know what all took place Saturday, so somebody else can tell that
story.
It looked like to me that Bob Cowell and Rick Corbell had done a ton of

Here is a story about a mountain-climber that waited in a
cave entrance for 5 days for a storm to let up so that he
could be rescued. ( It does not sound
like a snow cave, but a natural cave )

Does the cave have a name ?
I left some names of the helpers off my last post.
One of them was Sara Ranzau.
Also, the camp shower walls on the outside and the inside
are made of black plastic wrap which was stapled to the
studs of the structure and covered with wood strips and stapled
again to help reinforce the plastic.

ICS is a big event, and much labor is required. This last week is a bit

Aren't you paying with your gas money to drive to and from AM and the

Anyway, thanks for your hard work.

The point is still that nobody (well, nearly nobody) can get a free ride for

For whatever it's worth, the rule at NSS conventions has always been
that all workers for the vendors have to be registered. Most of them
spend the whole convention (at least daytimes) in their rooms selling
stuff. -- Mixon
