I didn't know they threw out MRIs after 7 years. That means
mine is gone, too. :-( That's a good reminder to get copies of all pertinent
medical records.

I would be upset for the same reasons you are. It's hard to be "dismissed" by
your neuro. It doesn't mean you should change doctors. You like the care he
gave you in the hospital, he reviewed you MRI's, he has given you a TM
diagnosis, and has ruled out MS. Be glad you have a neuro wh

Hi Gary - I have TM - lesion at C3-C4,C4-C5 - I saw
it on my MRI. My Neurologist says that she believes I do not have MS
(MANY brain MRIs) but "will not rule it out" I think she is just trying to
cover her own ass. She sent m
halus, and by removing some fluid it would relieve pressure on brain
& spinal chords - didn't do a thing.

today. The 3 MRIs showed no new lesions. The evoked response tests
must have come out o.k. also.
I'm a little confused though
because the Dr. said I really don't have a true diagnosis
(even though I have a copy of my first MRIs from two years ago
I had my first appointment with my new neuro.
There was good news, and bad news, depending upon how one looks at it. One
thing that was cleared up for me was the significance of the NMO titre.
The doctor explained to me, that one individual can have an undetectable
titre and have sev
