I think we need to be realistic about this. If I had a husband who was disabled I am not sure I would be happy all the time. You can't fully understand anything if you haven't walked in someone else's shoes. Just like anything in life. Everyone is different. Some people can handle it

Don't get me wrong, my husband Pete is supportive and very helpful. Heck, I've kind of got it made these days. He just retired, and makes my coffee and breakfast, and at night, brings me my capucchino at night. Not too shabby. However, I feel that all of us can benefit from some therapy
