Ok, a few more questions: As my current receiver is quite old (like 10+ years) I imagine the DAC's in it are not as good as the DAC's in the SB. If that is the case and I want to use the DAC's from the SB do I output from Coax or RCA to the receiver? Looking at receivers I see some have

So, am I hosed? The odd thing is some of the artwork shows up. I was doing a random play last night and saw that awful grey CD image for most of the night and then a song from Hairspray came on and the cover art was there. Anyone know why? Does iTunes just like musicals? :D -- Mike K

No if iTunes already has downloaded some art it's easy.. Just copy that art into the multi-change like I told you before. In iTunes 10 you'll need to Get Info on one of the tracks of the album, go to Artwork Tab and copy the image, then close. Then go thru the steps I told you before. --

Itunes keeps art NOT in the artist or album folder but in its own odd database folders that don't make any sense to the user (but they do make sense to itunes program). I've found the best approach is to have those same album art items EMBEDDED in each track. You can do this manually or

I'm pretty sure there is a way to change the port without editing the prefs file directly, but I don't have SBS in front of me to check exactly where it is. Did you stop the SBS service completely before editing the prefs file? If not, that's why your edit didn't stick. -- aubuti

Had some strange experiences over lunch. I added one cover art as prescribed. No go. Then I did a re-scan in the remove and replace mode. Sothen the SB would play the music but not display any of the data. Several scans and clean-ups later the thing kicked in just as I was coming back to

AVR/receiver networking is very basic and simplistic, nothing even close to the capabilities of a dedicated Network Music Player like a SB Touch. ;) As suggested, once you get your Touch, hook up both the digital coax and the L/R analog outs to two different inputs in your AVR, like DVD and CD.
