The iPhone is great, but has it's drawbacks.
It syncs easy with googlemail and google contacts. Calendars are a
little harder, I use neuvasync as a middle man for sync.
Iphones have Bluetooth, yet I think you need an app to use it. Same
with mms. After jailbreaking I couldn't get the iPhone

I figure this kind of setup would let the nVidia have more oomph for when
I'm gaming and watching a film at the same time, as the intel chip would do
work for its monitor, and the nVidia for the games.

Load up add/remove programs, then next to the search bar at the top is
a drop menu. Click that, and change it to all avaliable
applications, and search for Lightening again.

Your $USER folder IS /Rowan - $USER is a term for 'your username here'.
.mozilla is a hidden folder ( as is any folder beginning in a . ), so
open up /home/Rowan and press ctrl + H, I think, to show all hidden
folders. Press this key combo again to hide them.

Google actually have their own sync for iPhone using MS Exchange (see
Google Sync). No need for neuvasync anymore!

The idea would be to scan in my handwritten notes, but that would also
involve mathematical graphs symbols, which it may not cope with well. The
OCR isn't as important, it would just be a nice feature. As long as I can
make a digital copy of my notes easily it would do!

My other method was going to be to type them up in the evenings, the scanner
method was because I'm lazy! Perhaps I'll try typing them up myself for the
first few weeks, see how it goes. If it turns out to be a pain digitising
graphs and things, I'll find a scanner.
