Just convert the template (use some newer ubuntu version of qemu-img) to
qcow2 version 2...
They provide qcow2 version 3, you need version 2 for centos
something like (but please google and confirm):
qemu-img convert -f qcow2 /var/lib/libvirt/images/qcow2v3.img -O qcow2
-o compat=0.10

Hi guys,
I have created 2 disk offerings (we are using CEPH)
Volume created with offering1
Volume attached and detached from VM
Tried to resize volume to offering2 - not possible.
offer1 vs offer2 - only difference is disk size in GB - all else is default
when creating disk offering (shared
/cloudstack-management/bin to point to the location of the
version you just decompressed.
- All done! :)

Hi Andrija,
No.. this sed is unrelated to any breadcrumb issue, can you ellaborate on
that one? :)
This sed just makes the page reload instantly whenever you press F5 on the
UI, instead of taking as long as the first load.

With a ratio of 2.0, a VM configured for 1024MB RAM only sees 512MB RAM
This is by desing - so memory overprovisioning is useless in this
particular sense, and not to be used AFAIK.
CPU - maybe, storage - maybe/yes...

Ok, but since they are guest, it confuses me - is this advanced zone with
vlan, right ? Then my
network vlan ids?
Thanks

That would probably be a bug that I had...but we updated
(in terms of network
connectivity) and there is nothing special about them. They all have at
least one guest NIC.

I can tell you disk snapshots will fail ( -s glag was removed from
Qemu-IMG in CEntos 6.5) - other than that - there are some unsupported
features like disk throtling (via Compute offerings), no CEPH support (you
maybe dont want it anyway) etc

Hi guys,
I cant find any docs on this topic, so...posting a question here.
We are going to use Swift as region wide Secondary Storage.
My understadning: KVM hosts will still move i.e. templates from Primary
Storage to Secondary NFS Staging storage - and then this template needs to
be moved to
anyone :)

Andrei,
I had similar issue, although different log messages...
select * from nics where instance_id = instanceid and default_nic = 1 (or

basically all VMs need to have at least one default NIC- so if you can
please check... I had an issue, where DB was somehow corrupted and I had
