Hi there,
I see new options in ACS 4.4.x - VPC offering - althought I managed to make
use of it (as it is required by default) - I really don't fully understand
why was this option introduced.
Main queston - what is the difference between VPC and Network offerings - I
understand what network
Vm deployment doesnt work on my KVM enviroment - clean install 4.4.1,
creating new VPC based on builtin VPC/Network offerings - just get NULL
result after finishing new VM deployment from template, no errors in mgmt
log, nothing...unusable...

THe previous error happens - if you remove the Global settings value
for vm.network.throttling.rate - so if the value is empty - VM failes to

Hi guys,
trying vxlan as isolation method, and although manual testing of vxlan
works fine (so kernel and IP binary are fine) - I'm dont have inter-host
communication at all...
Per documentation, I should have created a bridge (cloudbr3 in my example,
IP address is set on the bridge). trafic
I had the same/similar issues, when my mgmt server and agents (bridge on
them) had public IP...I add host as 10.x,x,x to the cloudstack, and the
cs-agent reads the public IP address from the bridge and defines that
public IP as the host IP inside cloudstack (acs 4.4)

like this:
Defaults:cloud !requiretty
cloud ALL =NOPASSWD : ALL
and let us know if the upgtade still fails - it does fail for me with no
understandable error...
thx

Just did quick management server ACS 4.4.1 installation on free server:
cloud ALL =NOPASSWD : /bin/chmod, /bin/cp, /bin/mkdir, /bin/mount,
/bin/umount, /usr/bin/keytool
that is what it looks like in ACS 4.4.1
clean install of ACS 4.4.1 works...

I suggest you examin closely if RBD/CEPH support is there, or if you need
to obtain qemu-kvm and qemu-img packages from Intank, etc...
CEPH integration for Centos 6.5 sucks, from custom qemu-* packages from
Intank that you need to get, to compiling libvirt etc...
Hope to see CentOS7 fix that,
suggestion on need to recompile libvirt ? I got info from Wido, that
libvirt does NOT need to be recompiled

Hi,
Sorry to bother, but I have urgent situation: upgraded CEPH from 0.72 to
0.80 (centos 6.5), and now all my CloudStack HOSTS can not connect.
I did basic yum update ceph on the first MON leader, and all CEPH
services on that HOST, have been restarted - done same on other CEPH nodes
(I have
and which are working fine for me:
qemu-kvm-tools-0.12.1.2-2.415.el6.3ceph.x86_64
qemu-img-0.12.1.2-2.355.el6.2.cuttlefish.x86_64
qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.415.el6.3ceph.x86_64
This whole setup is working fine for me...
Hope that helps, was going through the same pain, as you do now... :)

Hi,
I'm on ACS 4.3 - VM shutdown, moved to another Primary Storage, from Local
(var/lib/libvirt) to shared (CEPH). All fine (ps-aux | grep ) confirmed
that volume is on RBD/CEPH.
But I still can't change Compute Offering to one that is using Shared
storage (CEPH) only Compute Offerings with
