I have some problems on some servers.
My settings are as follows: apache + ajp to connect.
The errors that I see every so often are:

Have you checked the apache error logs?

logs no matter what to have webstats correct and not splitted.

I always have used either the ip address or the wildcard * in the virtualhost
directive.

Assuming I intend to run more than one FCGI server program under the
apache web server on the same machine, how would I set up apache such
that each FCGI server instance spawns as many instances as there are
machine cores _but_ apache processes only as many requests as there are
cores.

Unfortunately pings are blocked by our ISP, so how can I measure
network latency or even better, any way to measure http latency? I
googled it but I can't find any article that mention any tool to do that.

Tomcat) log files? I want to be able to monitor when something is going
wrong that needs attention from me instead of reading all logs from Apache.
I'm thinking of a crontab job or something similar
