Hi Mario,
This remains an ambition for us, and we do have some code in our

Hi Uwe,
Thanks for your request, it seems that you are already a member of the ASF

Could you check if you have access to the #apache-isis channel?
Or, it now occurs to me... perhaps you are a member of the ASF slack

HI folks,
just to keep you in the loop on the renaming of this project.
So far, we've had the formal vote from the PMC members to change the name

It's a good question. I know in V2 this is/will be easy, because Spring

For v1, what you could do is define a "SeedService" for the module, and

Hi Sandro,
Your use case is, in fact, supported: you need to

For example, suppose we have a "removeItems(…)" action:

There are already config properties that enable fail-fast validation that
detect orphaned supporting methods (and other checks besides). Why do we
need an annotation to ask for this to be done? It just adds clutter in my

Hi Jayesh,
The framework determines the object type from the URL and uses the rest of

object type is an entity or a view model.
In the case of entities, this is used to query the database. In the case of

the issue is somewhere in your setup I suppose.
I use mvn to enhance, and also run using org.apache.isis.Webserver. The
enhance.txt script looks fine, but in the launch.txt I see that there's a

of the 1.x codebase. I think the solution will only impact the Wicket
viewer, so although the re-platforming work is touching a lot of the
codebase, the Wicket viewer/Restful viewer and metamodel are mostly

problem do that we can debug into it?
Thx,

Since 1.17.0 is out, could you put together an example app that
demonstrates the issue, then I'll take a look at it.
Thx

The Apache Isis team is pleased to announce the release of Apache Isis
2.0.0-M2.

The long-term goal (for v2.0.0) is to allow the

Dan.
