Hi Semion,
Thanks for your email, but that config actually kills the SMSCs:
SMPP[first_smsc]: io_thread: break and shutting down
Thanks

Hi Gerardo,
try this:
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
smsc-id = first_smsc
allowed-smsc-id = first_smsc
...
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
smsc-id = second_smsc
allowed-smsc-id = second_smsc

Hello Guys,
does anyone know how I can specify the smsc route in an http request.
eg:

I’m trying to setup an SMSC router, to route services from a phone network
to a content provider somewhere else. The setup looks like this.
[GSM Provider] →[modem]-→
[my_kannel_box(tm)](internet)--->[content_provider]

Hi, Heru,
thanks a lot for the advice - I did not thought that routing on
sendsms-user works similar as it works for smsc, i.e. that it's
possible to have two sendsms-users with the same user/pass but
different rules (in my case, different allowed-prefix parameters).
Thanks again, it worked.

Hi list,
I have the following situation: 2 sendsms-users and 3 connections to
SMSCs, say c1, c2, c3. I want to achieve the following:
1. sendsms-user #1 is forced to use only a c3 smsc-id. This one I
easily did by adding forced-smsc= "c3" directive.
2. sendsms-user #2 must use both c1 and c2 (th
Hi Ambar
Thanks, with store-file in the core and I am not losing messages again.
But I have another problem with routing.
I am setting up several smpp and ucp connections. Is it possible to set a
secondary route such that if the primary route for a particular message is
down, the message will go

new stable version based on it soon.

Dear all,
How can I route my Wap push messages through the apropriate smsc?
I have this feature working for SMS Pushes, with the right kannel configuration file and passing on the sendsms url the smsc= parameter. I can see the smsbox routing well the MT SMS.
See the ex,

You can do that from the HTTP app.
Configure the service with max-messages = 0 so you don't get a
response on the same terminal, and then program your HTTP app to send
a new message using the sendsms interface to whichever smsc connection
you like.
I use this method on a sms chat app and it works

Hi,
is there a possibility to configure Kannel 1.2.1 that I can redirect an
incoming SMS achieved from one SMSC to another specific SMSC ?
We receive a SMS from one SMSC, make a HTTP Request to an application,
receive the HTTP Request response and need to send the SMS response via
another SMSC.
