Typically pdf's are read using adobe products (although there are some
open source products that also work)... OOo doesn't read pdf's, only
create them.

for Microsoft Word. If the OP has Works, the only option is to save in

I downloaded the OpenOffice 2.0 suite and tried to install it. The
install failed because it could not find a file called
openoffice.org-core01 I am running RedHat9.0, which came with

recipient receives it, there no lines that separate the figures. What do I have

I'll share the (very simple) solution in case someone has. I suggested to my
co-worker that she could try deleting the alignment tools from the toolbar, and
then re-inserting them. She did and now they work fine. Not
