Just a thought, but you could always not update to iOS 8.4 for iPhone, iPad and
iPod Touch and not update iTunes for Mac or PC. You could also not update the
software on Apple TV and not download the Android app when they come later in
the Fall.

Onfortunately, Mary, I have seen a couple of books that show the behavior
you describe. I assume the affected pages contain images or maps. I have
simply navigated beyond those pages–not a happy solution, I know.
