RE: Creating folders and rules for pop mails

2012-11-25 Thread James Homuth
You probably could, but if you're using POP, what would be the point? That kind of setup works best with IMAP. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of salama Sent: November 26, 2012 12:09 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject:

RE: moving emails to dropbox - can it be done?

2012-10-08 Thread James Homuth
If you're using mail on your phone, I'm assuming you're using IMAP. So why couldn't you just access that same email on another computer? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something but wouldn't that make more sense? And if you're not using IMAP for mail, then... Uh... Can I ask why? -Original

RE: blocking number app with the Iphone

2012-07-28 Thread James Homuth
Neither, sadly, does Telus or I believe Rogers, although I could be wrong about the latter. My research turns up mostly apps that either 1: cost you or 2: aren't accessible. And occasionally, they fall into both categories. So I'd also appreciate a pointer or 6 in the right direction. Thanks as

RE: blocking IMessage

2012-06-16 Thread James Homuth
She means blocking one specific person from iMessaging her, not turning off the app. Although, 45 seconds on Google and another 45 on Apple say that's about the only way to do it. Apple, rather stupidly, doesn't offer you a block option. You'd think that'd be, y'know, common sense, but then, this

If there were, I'm pretty sure your iThings wouldn't have the slightest clue what to do with it. The support for that kinda thing just isn't there, hardware or otherwise. _ From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Jen Colley Sent: May-30-12 12:10 AM

RE: Looking for a good free if possible ring tone maker and all the blackberry and android ring and alert tones

2012-05-15 Thread James Homuth
I've got plenty of blackberry and android ringtones over here if you'd like to let me know how to get them to you. As for the other thing, unfortunately most of the free utilities aren't all that great. But depending what you're looking for, I may be able to oblige. _ From:

RE: Is there an app for listening to the radio that won't use data for the iPhone?

2012-05-15 Thread James Homuth
the iPhone doesn't have a tuner antenna, so unfortunately what you're after is quite not very possible. If you want to listen to the radio via the iPhone, it's gonna have to be online, I'm afraid. _ From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Jen Colley
