Hi Peter I think you are being a little hard on those still running Snow Leoard. I use a MacBook Pro bought in 2006. It functions well and does all I need including banking and photos but it cannot run OS10.7 or later. To do that I have to buy a new one. Behind me there is an iMac running OS10
