It might be of interest here, I have the current wireless Apple mouse
with a new iMac, the mouse has a fixed internal battery with a USB
port for recharging, like a phone. It's quite handy to not have to
worry about batteries, and the system tells you when the battery level
is low.

What is the usual lifetime of a Magic Mouse. Mine is about 4 years old and
has done a fair but not excessive amount of work. Of late it is misbehaving -
not registering - the second click of a double click. At times it is fine, at
others it is not. I have brushed around the lights
i.e. in System Preferences. Although why both would change at the same
time is a mystery...

If rebooting the MacBook has not solved the problem.

out of range and a blocked signal.

Logitech Slide Clicker
(Model: R-RB5) via USB to my MacBook laptop, it freezes my mouse. Which
means if I want to change something on my computer mid presentation, I have
to unplug the Logitech USB and replug it to get it working again. Are there
any ideas on how I can use my mouse while
I am interested to hear comments regarding Magic Mouse battery life. I have
one with my new iMac and like it but wonder about the battery life. I am using
rechargeables and my first lot gave me three weeks+. I read a lot about this
and also as to the interpretation of the battery level

I got a trackpad recently and bought the Apple rechargeables and charger to
go with it the package comes with 6 batteries.
So now I have the charger plugged-in and to hand by the computer with:
* One pair in the Magic mouse
* One pair in the Trackpad
* One pair in the charger
