If I remover the power, it immediately shuts down and the date/time
reverts to 1970. It may also require a 'forced' restart to get it
going

There is a tip on Macintouch today about the order of connecting your
PB AC adapter. Apparently you should connect the adapter to the
electric outlet before connecting it to the PB. Doesn't say anything
about the disconnection order. Perhaps you need to buy the book.

concerned the Macintouch order is correct. Going the other way can
potentially ruin your battery or ruin the PMU in your powerbook. I
can't remember off the top of my head why, but this was a topic of
discussion when I did

Wondering if any other G4 PowerBook owners have noticed this little

I have been seeing exactly the same problem on my G4 PowerBook over the
last few weeks.
Nothing more to offer at this stage as I have loaned by battery to a
friend whose battery (that I am currently using) is somewhat dodgey. I
get my battery back on Wednesday so I'll see if the problem

If you have an adapter you'd like to sell please email [EMAIL PROTECTED]
