I uninstalled the previous version, cleared the log, installed the 1.2RC5, then

I did as follows:
Clear event log.
Disable virus scanner, just in case
Uninstall 1.0rc client.
Install 1.2rc5 with the following command line:
msiexec /qn /i [path to msi file] SE
