Over the weekend I made some changes to the way WSJT-X generates
suggested user messages when a compound callsign is involved. I also
made a minor change in the way the encoder decides when to use the
free-text format in a message. These changes are intended to make

wsjtx-1.4.0-rc3 is approaching? (Is that the proper nomenclature, or

FYI.I reported the problem to HRD about the buttons only being queryable as
to what is on the screen versus what the attached radio can do.
They did say it's on their long-term plans to fix that but it's a major
effort. So the saying don't hold your breath would seem to apply.

Mine keeps refusing the connection, I have tried with the built in usb and a
separate cat lead and keep getting

Ok, thanks, that's makes sense now. I didn't know some commits were
being made only to one and not the other wsjtx-1.4 branch / wsjtx trunk.
The other question you answered also about the rc only commits regarding
rc1, 2, 3 etc.

I don't know why my compiles are not working but that works great with or
without the dtr so I have left it off.
I don't know why dtr was ticked, I think it didn't work without dtr in mixw
which used to be my main data program.
Will have to see what i'm doing wrong with the compiling,

this is a normal release version without the tracing. It should keep you
going until I can get the Hamlib changes published.

No problem I thought I was doing something wrong.
Just tested and the program puts the radio into data mode as well which is
pretty neat not seen other programs that do that, normally I have to do it
by
hand.
