This isn't a driver problem. It looks like a FreeBSD-specific problem with the core server. For the list... Is XFree86 4.2.1 expected to work on FreeBSD 5? It looks like it's crashing in some write combining code. Perhaps you could try XFree86 4.3. Mark.
