The only one thing left to define is 'there'.

What is this? Service Description includes the Fist and the Second but
delegates the Third to the Service Contract.

Subject: Re: [service-orientated-architecture] Descriptions vs Contracts

Hi again,

To clarify the point, there's actually 3 factors.
First, there's a description of the real business value the service provides.
This is analogous to the description of an item at a store. The real value of
the pen does is not related to how I purchase.

Second, there's a description of businesss transaction options. The kinds of
protocol I can use, the data format, encoding, etc. When I'm buying a pen, I
would like to such things like know my payment options and shipment options the
store is offering.

Thirds, there's the actual contract based on the choices made. I'm using my
VISA to pay for the pen and I want it shipped to my home address via Federal
Express overnight delivery.

Since it's a holiday season, try going to some online store and see how you buy
things.
