Charlie,   Just did a quick check for FLO on the 45" club length 2W I assembled NBP-COG with a Tour Golf TSEL, 54 gram R-flex which had a somewhat large spine, if I remember correctly. Even with a "sofftee-style" grip clamped in a Workmate, there is almost no ovalling.
