Hi Corey

Regarding the $64,000 question.

Refer to Danny Seng's web site at:
http://www.geocities.com/american_golf_technology/aboutus.html
Refer to the article on the bottom of the page:

Spine Orientation - Graphite Golf Shaft

In collaboration with Harry Schiestel of Canada, Danny Seng is seen here
using a Portable Ball Striking Robot in Singapore to test shaft spine
orientation and its varied ball flight performances.

Harry Schiestel of Golf Outfitters, Canada, designed the test parameters
while Danny managed the data collection and the robot. Using advanced
statistics (DOE) Harry and Danny determined how shaft orientation effects
both distance and percent error (accuracy), and the methods by which to
optimize shot making performance.

Harry and Danny have since expanded their testing parameters using golf
touring professionals to include the human factor into the equation.

Maybe for $64,000 (each partner) we will provide the answer ...

Thanks Harry S

Hi Alan,

SNIP / SNIP

"How do they affect the behavior of a golf club when it is swung?"

The $64,000.00 question. Hopefully, Dave T's Iron Byron results will
provide some answers. There already has been some robot testing done in the
orient by an Australian clubmaker named Danny Seng. His results suggest
that different orientations produce different shot patterns. - CB

Hope I helped,
