I have counter points to each of these, but I'll start with the low hanging fruit as I run off to class.
I'll consider the RFC stuff this evening, but from what I got glancing at it I saw nothing that strengthens your point. Yes the reply-to header exists, but the correct way of using the header can not be obtained from those excerpts.. Do not take this as my final conclusion. I wll re-read that part tonight. Why don't we all conform with what the wonderfully intelligent masses have decided is the right thing. Oh of course unix admins are stastical anomolies in group dynamics, when consenus is reached by the all mighty panel of unix admin oracles it is always the correct conclusion. If I were to give any examples of bad decisions made by unix populations then I will only strike up a holy war akin to perl vs python, emacs vs vi, etc.. I may dare to venture some less holy war prone examples this evening in my complete reply. > I don't know if you guys have noticed, but this mailing list is all > but defunct. I don't why you feel that posting to the list is such a pain, I was able to respond to this mail with no pain. Also the burden of proof is on your end, since you want to change the status-quo on this list. To convince me you will have to provide more reasons than "me and a handful of other guys want it this way so lets enforce it on everyone". -Omar _______________________________________________ Siglinux mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://machito.utacm.org/mailman/listinfo/siglinux
