I've been taking vitamins and minerals for years, most of them initially
prescribed by an alternative medicine physician who has written a couple of
books on the subject, one of them being "The Vitamin Revolution in Health Care"
by Michael Janson M.D.. He used to have an office here but moved away several
years ago. I have been adamant about taking the vitamins suggested/prescribed,
and several others too. I am now also taking Brewers Yeast Flakes, 2 TB/day.

I wouldl like to know the underlying cause of this problem.

Thank you very much for your kind offer. I will be in touch if I decide I
would like to try it.

Faith

Marshall is right. I too had this problem until I started to drink lots more
water (purified/ozonated or distilled) and using the mineral supplements he
suggested. Also, I have been using MSM (1000mg capsules/one per day) and using
an 8:2 ratio of CS to DMSO (liquid/veterinary grade) in an ointment I
developed. If interested, I will send you a small tub of it for you to try
(for free). This really helps at night with arms, legs, feet, muscle and joint
aches/cramps. Anyhow, I will continue to pray for your healing as I do for all
of us.

Not likely. First make sure you are drinking sufficient water.
Dehydration can cause cramps. It is better to have to get up during the
night to go to the bathroom, then to get up due to cramps. Also quite
likely calcium, magnesium and potassium supplementation will help. If
not, you might try quinine, IE tonic water.
