That is only one recommendation. It is not difficult to maintain hydration no
matter what one weighs. Faith G.

  What is enough water?
Recommendations are: 1/2 ounce per day of body weight in pounds.
If someone weighs 300 pounds, would you believe he could maintain
hydration as easily as someone weighing 100 pounds?
This is not rocket science, folks -- it's common sense! Forget 8 glasses.
  Deal with the body volume!

Your probably right Wayne. I only drink a pint or so and seem to be ok
on that, but then, I don't do an awful lot of exercise either. Again, horses
for courses. Dee

Well, I read that over eight glasses is too much (I think) I seem to
remember this because this is the amount most seem to recommend. Trouble is, I
read so many things, that unless I am looking into that particular thing at the
time, I just remember snippets.

Even if you remember all of it, confusion still exists. Many reasons
exist for the confusion.

The mainstream, and these doctors say one thing and alternative people
say another.

Many different numbers exist for the MDR or RDA.
