I went on a beet juicing cleanse and it was recommended that you mix 2
tablespoons of cinnamon into a shot glass of cold water for 2 minutes minimum
(I mixed it with 2 ounces of water) until well mixed. I used a tiny cocktail
fork to really stir it in and break up any clumps. Then drink it down and
immediately follow with a chaser of a cup of water.
Then wait 15 minutes before drinking the beet juice because that is how much
time it takes the cinnamon to do it's work.
But beware, if you don' mix it well and chase it right away it burns.
One other thing is that right at about two minutes I noticed that the cinnamon
does become saturated into the water.

There is a formula by Biotics Research called Gluco-Balance.  It was developed
for sugar handling problems, I have read.  I have taken it and recommended it
for years.  One of the nice side effects is that it raises HDL and lowers
LDLs.  I also notice that when I use this and additional GTF chromium my
appetite is better controlled.

I am taking cinnamon and it doesn't seem to be doing anything yet, but it's
only been a week. Any idea how long it takes to work?

Taking other supplements to improve blood sugar control also, but so far the
only thing that works is just to not eat any fast acting carbs, or any sugar.
