Get some kefir starter at your health food store ( in the cooler - it comes
in a box with small packs inside, heat milk to about 200 degrees, let cool,
add a pack per quart of milk ( I use organic): let sit at room temp. for 18
to 24hrs then refrigerate and enjoy. It's better than store bought, and
especially better than the flavored ones that usually have sugar added.

I have been told you can use some kefir as a starter but I haven't tried
that.
